I’m a bit of a movie buff, infact, I’m known to some as being that ‘guy who’s seen everything’, but American Beauty hit me more than any other film I’ve ever seen. It’s just so…so…perfect in every way.

Can someone explain to me why Chris Cooper didn’t get an Oscar for American Beauty? Or at least a nomination? He’s so fantastic in this film. Everything leading up to his character’s final actions… it’s so subtle, but it’s all there. Grade A acting.
